The Keys to Lasting Health

I think the majority of the population is aware that a healthy body equals a better quality and oftentimes quantity of life. Despite the consensus, many people have a hard time breaking bad eating habits and really committing to a life of eating healthy and exercising regularly.


I want you to know that it is not as difficult as you think. You might be looking at the big picture as more of an "all or nothing" mentality, when in reality it is a day by day process. It is more of a journey and it is one that you can begin at anytime. All it takes is desire, passion, and commitment.


A very easy first step you can take is to remove as many 'non-food' items from your diet. These are sugars, grains, white table salt and milk. I know it might be difficult to let go of some of those, but the benefit is that you will feel so much better within just a few weeks. These items provide virtually no, if little macronutrients to the body despite what food companies espouse.


The next thing to minimise or eliminate all together is processed foods. Processed foods are foods that have been changed from their natural state. They are foods that are canned, frozen, or dehydrated. Examples of processed foods that are detrimental to you health are canned goods that have a lot of sodium in them; chips, frozen dinners, packaged cookies, breakfast cereals with high sugar, breads with white flour and processed meats.


If you remove these unhealthy foods from your life, your digestion system will certainly thank you for it. It is taxing on the digestive system to process junk and processed foods and even when it does, there are very little nutrients that actually get absorbed into your body. Such food place a burden on the human body, as it attempts to draw nutrients from what is essentially 'dead' (no life-giving) food items.


As you decrease unhealthy foods, increase foods that your body needs and loves. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables every day. Consume foods which are whole and natural, which have not been refined or processed. Introduce new healthy foods into your diet as often as you can. You don't have to make a dramatic change at first, as that might tend to make you anxious. If you are not sure how to cook with healthy foods, purchase a cook book to guide you. It can be quite fun to learn how to cook healthy meals.


Along with eating healthy, adopt an exercise regimen. There are all sorts of things you can do to exercise: walk, jog, play tennis, try yoga, go hiking, swimming or join a gym. As you exercise, you strengthen muscles and your core; endorphins are released throughout your body allowing you to feel happier. If you take just 20 minutes out of your day and exercise, you will be well on your way to a healthier life.


Lasting health involves the physical, mental, and also the spiritual. Make a concerted effort to grow spiritually by taking time periodically for meditation, prayer, contemplation or even quite time alone. A wonderful place to feel at one with Spirit is out in nature. Many people associate prayer with religion. Prayer may involve a simple 'thank you' to the universe for that new job you recently acquired.


Have you ever just sat out in a field or in the woods listening to the sounds of nature and breathing in such a beautiful fragrance? It is in those moments that many people gain clarity about life purpose and a deep gratitude may also fill their hearts.


If you take time daily to connect with Spirit, you will experience less stress and feel more energetic and revived. Your connection with a greater source of energy will help you to experience more joy and peace as you go about living your life. Many people who regularly pray and meditate report that their lives are less stressful and they feel more fulfilled than when they did not engage in spiritual practices.

Social Health and Healthy Ageing

You are beautiful at any age: The Bible says, "Even though our outward (wo)man is perishing, the inward (wo)man is being renewed day by day."


When I read it, my personal interpretation was that we are beautiful at every age. But, many people may disagree and may have a divergent view, too. I believe, these might be the ones who grow sad as they see the gradual loss of their youthful beauty, and continuously invest in beauty procedures to remain swaying in the high tide of youth again. They trim and tone their bodies to postpone the inevitable.


It is undoubtedly a good procedure that they follow. This is not a debatable topic because this regimen preserves and restores the natural firmness, and normal functioning of body organs in health. And, by doing these workouts they target legs, chest, back, shoulders and arms, core and full body, and keep these parts in control. However, according to Ben Franklin, "You may delay, but time will not." So, staying true to yourself brings you to a realization that you will age, no matter what.But given a healthy foresight and acceptance, and embracing the conscious wisdom one gains with age, I believe one remains beautiful at any age.


Health and Healthy Ageing: According to World Health Organisation, "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." This definition entered into force on 7th April 1948 and has not been amended since. It is very relevant and has a lot of significance in today's times. The key component of overall health which is included in the definition according to me is "social" health. This word struck me as very progressive. It is this aspect of health which promotes a well-rounded lifestyle. Evidences and researches suggest that elderly people might delay cognitive decline by being socially engaged.


Even though there is a lot of emphasis on exercise, mobility and its awareness for forty plus group. And, it is indeed extremely important to keep us fit and trim, but according to Patrick P. Coll, director, U Conn Health Centre, ''social activities and mental wellness have important roles as well." September is designated as Healthy Aging Month. It is a national campaign designed to highlight the many ways, individuals can avoid declines in physical, mental and emotional health as they age. Healthy aging is not just about exercise and staying fit. Mental and social well-being too, is vital component of living well. It is the importance of this ''workout'' that I would like to talk about here. I refer to it as ''Express Workout.''


1. Social Health: At this point many may not seem pleased with what I just said, but they will surely do, when they know its benefits especially in the afternoon of life - the life after 40. Let us see social health as a supplement to various therapies in keeping our body trim and toned.


Your best health is essential in all aspects of your life-from your body to environment around you. When we talk about environment it means friends, family, relationships, all these affect our health indirectly. This is our social health. According to me, much of our body's agility depends upon this.


Our physical well-being is the key to enjoying a healthy life. We should always try to get the needed rest, exercise and nutrition to maintain. However, the environment that we get by staying in close contact with family and friends; enjoying a hobby; learning a new language; musical instrument; keeping up with current events; taking a class; doing brainteasers, and socializing cannot be undermined.


Appreciating and enjoying these healthy connections is paramount. As life comes close to an end it is the experience of these wholesome socially rich environment that seem to matter much more than personal possessions.


Our children fly to their new formed nests. And, life does not remain what it used to be. No matter what exercises and regime you undertake during these moments, it is very crucial to keep your social health blooming. If we are able to achieve this, our lives brim with bimini - what is termed as the fountain of youth!


2. Supplementary Tools: The benefits of looking good are feeling good, healthy and strong. No one can make a difference to your body. Only you can.

4. Dump the downer: You guessed right -it is the weighing scale! You constantly get into the obsession of it. Why I could not weigh what she weighs. This will lead to your unhealthy state of mind. Limit the use of scale sparingly. It would rather be wise instead, to go in for body-fat index tests on half yearly basis.


5. Calm your nerves: Follow your fitness schedule like a marathon and not like a sprinter. Slow down! Do not burn out or hurt you along the way. Increase cardio time and weight training gradually.

6. You are different: Do not compare yourself with others who do intensive work out and training. This will discourage and make you envious or depressed. We should compare us with ourselves. Keep your eyes on your goals and not what others are doing.


7. Enjoy every process: Remember one should enjoy the journey and not only look for the destination all the time. Talk, breathe have fun with your best buddy while doing. Do not grab an intensive level. Be yourself and follow comfortably.


8. Do not despair: Nothing is the end of the world. If you could not be regular because of some pressing matter -personal or official. Just get back on track, board the train and chug along!


9. Get into an autopilot mode: We feel we do not need to work on our bodies. Many a times we feel we are fine without it. We lax and coil ourselves in the myth of ''all is well'' kind. For this legion of women, a word of caution: Whether you do, or you do not, it is wise to accept exercise (any form) similar to essentials like breakfast or taking a shower.


10. What to/how to: Hire a trainer to help you with a system. They are masters in this domain. Their knowledge is no exception. Use it to nurture and nourish your body.


11. Learn with fun: The importance of focus and any kind of learning when done with enjoyment brings out the best in terms of performance. When enjoyment is decreased, performance also decreases. A cycle ensues which prevents performance from ever reaching its potential. So, to ensure consistent fun and crazy spark keep widening your circle of friends. This helps new ideas generation, re-evaluation and new perspectives in your life.


12. STOP: When working is not fun anymore. Take a STOP. This is the most important of all the tools! I am sure you thought I asked you to stop. "No. This is not a full stop!" On the contrary it is an indirect tool to your mobility with a renewed vigour. This is an acronym inspired tool which means Stop, Think, Organise your thoughts and Proceed. Got it? This tool is very crucial in our mobility because after a burn out, this is the only tool, that if applied will help us achieve our full potential. This is required to make a conscious change. It can be of any duration. It may be only for a few seconds, at the beginning and end of each work day, and at the beginning and end of any work project.


13. Stay beautiful ever after: As the boomer generation (a person born during the demographic Post-World War II baby boom between the years 1946 and 1964), is quickly reaching the high side of fifty, the majority expects to live to 85. So, plan to stay fit to enjoy coming years as much as possible.


With this list in mind, growing old would be easier and healthier. They say, 'at 20 years of age, the will reigns, at 30 the wit, at 40 the judgment.' The Origin of The Human Conscience and Your Destiny

God produces your dreams in order to transform you into a real human being. You are basically a demon because the biggest part of your brain contains craziness, but you ignore this fact.


God gave you a human conscience, hiding your wild conscience from your conscience's eyes, so that you could believe that you can become a perfect human being someday. Otherwise, you would be shocked with your own nature.


Your tiny human conscience must be developed, so that your wild conscience (anti-conscience) may be transformed into human conscience. You have to acquire consciousness of the entire content of your brain and psyche. This process is carried on through dream translation.


The unconscious mind that produces your dreams is God's mind. This is why you receive free psychotherapy in dreams.


You are a demon because you can think. The first live conscience formed by chance in the vast universe many trillions of years ago became schizophrenic because it couldn't solve its existential problems. He became so powerful that He was able to create our planet with the intention to transform our satanic conscience into a perfect human conscience characterized by wisdom and sanctity.

You believe that you are unique and you have your own style. You are totally different from everyone else.


However, the truth is that you are simply repeating the common mistakes of the human race. You are merely following the absurdity of your anti-conscience and the absurdity of your historical time.


Only because you belong to the human race, you are in great trouble. You cannot be happy even if you'll attain your selfish goals.


The absurd tendencies you have inherited don't let you change your behavior and life. You also imitate the bad examples of the world without criticizing your actions.


This means that you make mistakes because you are a rational animal with an idiotic conscience, and because you imitate the misleading examples of your social environment.


How can you find happiness in life if you make so many mistakes?


This is impossible.


If you believe that you can simply ignore your psychological problems and live well, you are very far from the truth. You are also misled by many lies if you believe that you can be happy in a crazy world.


If you won't transform your personality through dream therapy and learn how to stop making mistakes, your destiny will be as tragic as your grandparents' destiny, with a few irrelevant differences. You cannot ignore the tragic origin of the human conscience and live as if you could be free.


God is trying to transform the human nature during billions of years without success. Human beings simply repeat the same mistakes, without learning anything with other people's tragedies.


We have to unavoidably fight absurdity. Otherwise, our human conscience won't survive our anti-conscience's attacks. Our satanic anti-conscience can easily destroy the human conscience we receive from God when we are born by taking advantage of our deceptions and traumas.


However, we are don't want to learn what is complicated and requires a certain effort to be comprehended. We don't want to believe that our reality is so tragic and we are in great danger. We prefer to agree with those who believe that everything is fine, and forget all complications.


This is why God is wasting His time. He keeps sending us precious messages in dreams and hoping that we will respect our religion, but we are indifferent to His pain. We will never agree with His orders.


We keep being as barbarous as we used to be when we lived in caves, or when people were executed by the guillotine. Today we have atomic bombs. Thanks to our tremendous scientific and technological progress, we are destroying our planet and killing our population faster than ever.


Will you escape the tragic destiny of those who despise God's warnings?

Learn Tantra Breathing For Complete Wellbeing

The manner in which we breathe plays a huge role in how healthy and emotionally grounded we are. As a tantra teacher, I place great emphasis on correct breathing and the tantra breathing techniques prescribes by the tantra scriptures. Apart from overall physical, mental and spiritual wellness, tantra breathing is an excellent method of detoxification.

The commonly accepted misconception that breathing should take place through the chest is just that - a misconception. It is a myth propagated by physical fitness advocates who simply do not know any better. In fact, chest breathing can lead to a lot of complications, since the lungs cannot expand to their fullest capacity and are therefore unable to absorb oxygen properly. One of the first things that your tantra teacher will inform you of is that chest breathing is shallow, unhealthy breathing.

Furthermore, expanding the chest is one of the ways in which men behave when they want to display aggression or dominance. It is a primitive response to danger, and its purpose is for the male to take up more space and make himself look bigger and more powerful. For this reason, making it a habit to expand the chest releases all sorts of stress hormones.

For any serious student of tantra, it is important to unlearn this unhealthy manner of breathing and to be instructed in the prescribed tantra breathing methods. This is not always easy.

The correct way of breathing as per tantric yoga guidelines involves drawing breath in slowly through the nose and allowing the abdomen (rather than the chest) to expand. In this way, the diaphragm is distended downwards and creates more space for the lungs to be filled. It is helpful to imagine that the air is being drawn through the lungs and into the belly.

This kind of breathing can be practiced in day-to-day life until it becomes second nature. While practicing tantra breathing during a tantric yoga session, one can take the technique further. After drawing in the breath as outlined above, hold it for a brief moment and then begin expelling it, allowing your belly and chest to deflate. However, the period of exhalation should be longer than that of inhalation, even if by just a few seconds. Then begin the cycle again. Be warned that dizziness may occur, since the blood is absorbing much more oxygen than the body is used to.

Avoid the use of any kind of burned incense while practicing this kind of tantra breathing, as the process of burning smoke will compromise the oxygen content in their air and also introduce harmful residues of combustion into it.

By practicing this tantric technique of inhalation and exhalation, you are ensuring that your lungs are completely voided of used-up air and filled to capacity with fresh oxygenated air. Practicing this kind of breathing for ten minutes each morning and night will have a profound and lasting effect on your body and mind.
